Kalen Meyer Art with Kids

For 23 years, we have provided Summer classes for children who love making art! Looking for the Summer 2026 schedule? — return to this page in January 2026.

Classes emphasize fine art materials and instruction, with a changing curriculum of different art mediums. Projects are varied so students can take more than one session and be challenged with new projects.

Kalen Meyer is an artist and teacher living and working in Berkeley, California. She has a B.A. in Printing and Painting from San Francisco State University. She teaches art in several schools in Berkeley during the school year and in summer runs an art camp for children.
